Suspect Shot By U.S. Marshal On Detroit’s West Side; Audio ExcerptPolice say one person has been shot and taken into custody in an incident involving U.S. Marshals on Detroit’s west side. The shooting happened Tuesday morning in the area of Linwood and Tuxedo streets, not far from the Lodge Freeway and Chicago Boulevard. Police on the scene told WWJ’s Charlie Langton a suspect was shot in the shoulder. The injury was not believed to be life-threatening.
