Slick, Snowy Roads Causing Spinouts
The drive has been slower than normal on local freeways as snow squalls move through southeast Michigan.
WWJ's John Bailey says a number of spinout accidents were reported since about 7:45 a.m Friday. No serious injuries were reported.
Police advise drivers to slow down whenever roads are wet, slushy, and/or snow-covered.
Similar conditions may continue over the weekend as snow showers are expected to leave a fresh coating to an inch of snow on the ground and cause slick travel at times.

Friday: Show showers; cold and cloudy. High 23. Friday night: Show showers continue with a Low of 13.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with snow showers. High 25. Low 13.
Sunday: Partly sunny and cold. High 24. Low 14.

Meantime, Delta Airlines is issuing a weather waiver for travelers to the East Coast Friday and Saturday, with several inches of snow in the forecast. (More on this).
