After two other suspects brought in for questioning were released, police are continuing their hunt for the gunman who fatally shot a 6-month-old girl in northwest Detroit last weekend.
Police say the infant, since identified as Miracle Murray, was in a yard with adults and other children outside a home, on Winthrop St. at Clarita Ave., on Saturday, April 16, when a man ran up and started shooting.READ MORE: Tillson Street's Halloween Displays Draws Thousands
He later fled in a car, described by witnessed as a silver Saturn.
Police have said the shooting appears to be gang-related and may be connected to the fatal shooting of another small child, 3-Anaiya Denise Montgomery, on Easter Sunday. Three people have been charged with murder in that case.
