DETROIT (WWJ) – Spring time weather may finally be ready to greet us, but first we are going to get a little wet. We’ll see some rain as we start the week, but we are also seeing rising temperatures.

Forecast Details from the Weather Team:

Sunday Night – Cloudy. Showers and thunderstorms developing overnight. Lows 58 to 62. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Monday –  Mostly cloudy and windy. Showers and thunderstorms likely during the morning…then a chance of light showers. Highs 65 to 69. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph…increasing to 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph through 6 PM…then diminishing to 15 to 25 mph late. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Monday Night – Mostly cloudy. A chance of light rain showers. Lows 37 to 41. West winds 10 to 20 mph…turning to northwest. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Tuesday – Mostly cloudy during the morning. Mostly sunny during the afternoon. Highs 54 to 58. North winds 5 to 15 mph…turning to south.

Tuesday Night – Mostly clear. Lows 37 to 41. West winds 5 to 15 mph…turning to southwest.
