Fallen Tree Stops Traffic On Pontiac Trail
WEST BLOOMFIELD (WWJ) - Quite a few motorists' morning commute was disrupted by a down tree. For just about all of the Friday morning rush, a fallen tree completely stopped traffic in West Bloomfield.
"Pontiac Trail, just east of Halstead is completely shut down here with a large, I mean large, tree across the road... maybe five or six feet in diameter," reported WWJ's Bill Szumanski, who snapped the photo above.
Road crews were able to remove the tree shortly after 9 a.m., and Pontiac Trial has reopened to traffic.
