Traffic Alert: Weekend Road Work

DETROIT (WWJ) - Know before you go! Due to the World Series, no additional lane closures will be scheduled this weekend on freeways leading to Comerica Park.

However, the following restrictions have been approved by MDOT. As always, some of this work may be postponed due to weather.

I-75:

In Oakland County, northbound I-75 will have two lanes closed nightly from Dixie Highway to Holly Road beginning at 9 p.m. and ending by 9 a.m. the following morning on Friday and Saturday nights. In addition, the northbound I-75 ramps at Holly Road will be closed. From 8 p.m. Sunday until 7 a.m. Monday, the double lane closure will move north from Holly to Grange Hall roads. The lane and ramp closures are needed for resurfacing work.

M-10 (Lodge Freeway):

In Detroit, a single lane will be closed on northbound M-10 from Davison Freeway to Puritan Street starting at 8 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. Friday for maintenance work.

In Detroit, a single lane will be closed on northbound M-10 from Puritan Street to Eight Mile Road from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday for maintenance work.

Beginning the week of Monday, Oct. 29:

I-275:

In Wayne County, northbound I-275 will be reduced to a single lane at Warren Ave from 9 a.m. until noon on Monday, Oct. 29. Southbound I-275 will be reduced to a single lane at Warren Ave from 9 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The lane closures are needed for ongoing bridge work.

I-94:

In Macomb County, westbound I-94 will have the right lane closed daily at Frazho Road (near 9 Mile Road) starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 29 and ending Friday, Nov 2 for sign work.
