DETROIT (WWJ) - Nine people were injured Wednesday morning in an accident involving a Detroit city bus and an SUV.

It happened in the area of Mack and St. Jean on the city’s east side.

Six people on the bus, as well as two adults and a child in the SUV, were taken to St. John hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

Reports say the DDOT bus rear-ended the other vehicle.
