It Had To Happen Sometime ... Snow Time In Michigan

DETROIT (WWJ) - We all knew it had to happen sometime soon. And a light dusting of snow has arrived in the metro Detroit area.

It was just a smattering of snow but enough to let us know that it's 'that time of year' again.

A cold front has pushed into Michigan, with temperatures forecast to drop into the 20s across the Detroit area  and several locations have seen a touch of snow flurries Monday afternoon.

Up to 5 inches of snow is predicted for parts of the Upper Peninsula.

Light snow has already been falling across western Michigan, in the Thumb and in the eastern Upper Peninsula.
