Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Justin Verlander sure loves Instagram.

On Tuesday he used the social medium to send a message to all his "haters."

Wednesday morning Verlander sent out a picture of a traffic light on green with this message: "Green means go!!! Gas pedals on the right!" with a man's bicep, a thumbs-up and an "A-OK" sign.

Earlier this week, Verlander underwent a third MRI on his triceps, and judging by his Instagram photo, he got some positive news. Verlander told the Associated Press on Tuesday that he had been waiting to hear what doctors had to say.

"Everybody was kind of hesitant to put a number (of days) on it and say, 'Yeah, Justin – I think you're going to be OK,'" Verlander said then. "I don't know what they're going to say. It's kind of a 'We'll see when the doctors come back.'"

Maybe the photo has to do with the MRI; maybe he is just stuck in Chicago traffic.

The Tigers take on the Chicago White Sox at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, and the game can be heard on 97.1 The Ticket.
