Top Jukebox Bars In Detroit

Grab a pocketful of quarters and put on your dancing shoes--it's time to rock this town. Detroit is home to some of the greatest jukebox joints, spanning from midtown to the west side. With a range of classic and modern jukeboxes, each contains a different library of songs. It shouldn't be hard to find a favorite as you try your hand at playing DJ.

Music only ceases to play on open mic night, which is the first Sunday of every month. Gusoline Alley caters to an eclectic crowd; be prepared to converse with strangers. Rock and Roll reigns the classic jukebox at this art deco styled bar, which was formerly a bank. There are three separate areas to explore, which means plenty of room for dancing. Live music, featuring both local and national bands, are regularly scheduled to perform on stage. With a rustic atmosphere and a fireplace perfect for conversation, 3rd Street is a comfortable spot to enjoy an evening out listening to your favorite tunes. The bar features a modern internet jukebox, loaded with anything you can imagine. Ongoing renovations have updated the bar's appearance for the better throughout the last three years. There is now an outdoor garden patio, which is the place to be, weather permitting. Shuffleboard and darts are available to those looking for some friendly competition.
